Introduction

poster of the movie

This blog represents a critical analysis of the film “Pink” with gender and male dominance issues. This analysis is significant in context of my own home country. This movie is basically based focusing on Indian society and the status of women in an Indian society. Although the film is based upon crime against women , it also depicts gender differences within the society . The whole movie is based on correcting and judging women in 21st century where we say that women are free and liberated now.

The purpose of this blog assignment is to critically analyze the social constructs as well as the social constraints that are being represented in this movie. My blog will proceed towards four pages which includes Introduction, social constructs, critical analysis and reflection.

Theme of The Film

The importance of word “NO” is being depicted in the whole movie. This lays emphasis on the fact that when a women says no its No , do not force her after that.

The theme of this movie is revolutionary as the director of the movie has tried an attempt to change the old age and traditional concept of “Sex” that women will never deny for it and should always be wiling to indulge in it . Through his movie he has tried to explain the concept that when women says “NO” its always no. Men should learn to respect women’s opinion instead of expecting them not to deny or disagree on anything.
